Frequently Asked Questions
How does the process work?
We begin with an initial consultation to discuss overall goals, budget and current stage of the project. Do you already have land and a design, or are you just starting out your research?
Once we have a design to work with, we can put numbers on paper for you and figure out how much the house will cost.
After rough selections have been made, we can provide a final budget and go ahead with getting the project permitted.
Now comes the fun part, building the home! We work together throughout the project to ensure we are on schedule, on budget and providing you with the best possible home we can.
Do I need to pay for an estimate?
Initial consultations and basic estimates are free of charge!
For detailed pricing or value engineering, enter a preconstruction agreement with us and we can guide you through the process.
What is a preconstruction agreement?
A preconstruction agreement allows the client and builder to collaborate on planning and design in the early stages of the project.
Do you have to use Pinette Construction to build the home if you have a preconstruction agreement?
You are not required to use Pinette Construction to build the home upon completion of the preconstruction process. However, if you do go ahead with us, the preconstruction agreement cost is 100% applied to the overall price of the new home. This allows the client to get assistance early in the project, while not having to jump into working with a builder they have never met before.
